I have recently accepted an offer of employment at Woods Oviatt Gilman, and I found the hiring process to be streamlined, and straightforward. The Talent Acquisition Specialist, Derek VanOrman was there for every step of the hiring process, and was always available to answer my questions. Overall my experience so far has been beyond expected and I look forward to becoming apart of the Woods Oviatt Gilman team.

I literally just got off the phone with the attorney at this firm named Jacqueline M Thomas in regards to a possible medical negligence claim. she was beyond rude and everything but compassionate.I am in shock! She really made me feel like I do not matter. As I was trying to explain my situation to her every time I kept trying to get to the issue. she kept cutting me off! how can you keep asking me a question and then cutting me off not letting me get to the point.I mean at this point I didn't even want to talk to this woman anymore.I'm going to have to dish out $1,500 for them to send my case to a physician outside of the area to have it reviewed because she didn't or wasn't sure by listening to me over the phone that there was a real case. How could you when she kept cutting me off. I'm completely appalled and I would never recommend anyone who's looking for compassion to contact this law firm. Their website is very misleading because it states on the website home page top left corner under the phone number (Passion. For People) that is a lie at least when dealing with Jacqueline. Also, she is a partner! I will make sure that everyone knows about her true Character if I am asked my opinion! I will not give up. Even if I have to wait and save to get a better qualified and a truly compassionate attorney to review what has happened to me. My situation is very new and very real. Part of my body is now deformed due to an outpatient surgery. I never received proper aftercare instructions from my physicians she even admitted that in the follow-up office appointment. And the issue that I have now due to the surgery was never advise to me that this could happen or be an issue due to the surgery. I will not give up.34 year old healthy woman before this and now everything is at risk. Follow up review 8/26/19 I received 2 phones calls today. One from Sarah in Operations/HR and a second one from Jacqueline herself. They apologized! I appreciate them taking the time to review my feedback. I will rate them with 4 stars. The reason for only 4 stars is to remind them that quality should always come before quantity. Lawyers are busy people, and I'm ok waiting an extra day to tell my story of it means you will be a better listener. Listening takes time, but missed information is priceless!

Jacqueline is a very open and honest attorney who truly does care about her clients. I worked with her for a year on an auto claim, and she took the time to explain the whole process to me. She explained what could, and could not happen during the claim and how long it could take to resolve. I would and will recommend her to anyone with a personal injury issue.

Jacqueline is truly a top-notch attorney and a genuinely caring person. She and her team actually took time and effort into making sure everything was taken care of no matter how small the detail. Jacqueline's professionalism is unparalleled. I would, and do highly recommend her services to anyone.

My experience through the interview process was very conversation based, and I felt that this firm really took the time to consider my fit inter-personally as well as professionally. As a recent hire, the hiring process at Woods Oviatt & Gilman was very efficient and thorough. The process begins with a phone interview, which is possibly followed by an interview with the Talent Acquisition Specialist, which was very helpful with learning more about the law firm, as a whole. Lastly, you interview with the team/department that you are being considered for. The last interview is extremely helpful with understanding what your responsibilities would include, and it familiarizes yourself with individuals who you might be working with. All in all, I found the hiring process to be well-organized and friendly!

This is a very nice and friendly practice. I was just hired and will soon be starting. Talent Acquisition Specialist Derek, was very nice, the hiring process is fast and smooth. They give you a lot of information and make you feel comfortable on the interviews. Very excited about starting there!
