Barbara took a tough and messy legal situation and navigated through it exceptionally. She is diligent and precise. I truly felt like I was up to speed and closely involved in my case. It was also nice to sit in court and know that we had our homework done and were ready for whatever might be asked...something the other side repeatedly showed that they were not. Barbara is not a bully or a grandstander. She displays solid knowledge of the law both in and out of the courtroom. I would recommend her if you are looking for legal services.

Barbara took care of me like a mom. I had a mess going both criminal and a divorce. Barbara is very knowledgeable and hard working. She brings fire and calmness to a case all at the same time.

Just got off the phone with this man. He IMMEDIATELY came off as incredibly condescending and rude. He had absolutely 0 interpersonal skills, and I was downright baffled by the way in which he spoke to me. Think twice before placing a call - he should probably consider retiring. The way in which he spoke to me made me feel like he hated my guts, and that I was a nuisance to him.

Good afternoon Mr. Corletta,
If you were sick, called a doctor after experiencing a fever/aches/muscle pain/etc, and mentioned that you believed that you may have the flu, you would expect that the doctor would courteously consider what you mentioned. He/she is a professional, and being so, is held to the highest standard of remaining both rational and objective. Then, you would expect him or her to ask you why you believe you have the flu, and discuss your symptoms (ones that just like your constitutional rights, are very well understood and considered common knowledge) before making any sort of judgement about your character. You would NOT be told that 'you do not know what you are talking about' and treated as if you were ignorant and hostile. Furthermore, you would expect that the doctor wouldn't invalidate your complaint and personal experience simply for being a "young-sounding person." I find it deplorable that you would disregard a potential client's concerns (no matter how valid or not they may be) simply on the basis that he/she didn't fit into your standards of what is a reliable demographic. With other similar complaints of hostility and homophobia on your record, I don't think it to be unfair for me to draw these sort of conclusions. I do apologize if anything I said comes off as aggressive or unfair. As an experienced lawyer, I'm sure you can understand that it is more important to present an accurate and honest summary of the situation than to muddle one's argument with formality (as you are clearly attempting to do).

This attorney is rude, condescending and largely useless. Given how long he has been practicing, his bitterness may indicate that it's time him to retire. I called looking to have a consultation for a pressing issue and instead was ridiculed and talked-over through most of the phone call. Beware of this attorney as he has no interest in you or your issue. He also has a complete lack of personal skills. For the money that he was asking, you could do better elsewhere.

William Mattar is very down to Earth and a great negotiator. He cares about his clients and their results in the courtroom. I have found him to also be a very caring and giving man. He frequently donates his time and resources to community causes. He is very involved with the Boy Scouts as well as using his resources to pay for cab rides on New Year's Eve so people don't drink and drive. I highly recommend him.
