Was told to ge there ti get help with rent assistance and health insurance issues. Was told I needed to give them the standard info to pass along did it more than three times, was told after not hearing from them for 2 weeks that I needed to get the info again, Robin Marable was then assigned to my case after the previous paralegal suddenly dissapeared. Was then told that the info was needed again. Robin would not accommodate my disability so I would need to mail everything in. It has now been a full month since I sent the info. Only to be called on a friday after business hours that they never recieved this vital info. I am disgusted with the lack of care or precision. The issue was never resolved. Legal NY has caused me more issues than when I initially went to them. Neglectful and disingenuous.

They did not follow thru with the referral that they recommended and said they would.

I went to the bankruptcy class almost a year ago and I am low income my life is in such turmoil I hv reached out through the months to the agency I may hv gotten one or two returned calls I understand that some people’s situation may b bigger than mines but my situation to m is just as big and as important I cm to legal aid society and was made to believe there is a light at the end of the tunnel well the light has completely went out for me I’m asking for help that’s all to take care of my bankruptcy problem

I was having a housing issue due to surgery concerning section 8, it took a bit but they are very responsive problems solved paperwork almost complete. They even helped me with another issue concerning unemployment very responsive great results 💯

Having a hard time getting in touch with the person assigned to my case. I have emailed him and provided all documents that were requested of me and have heard nothing back. I was denied reasonable accommodations and only have a year to file a complaint. My year is up in October and I've been seeking help since May of this year. This is super frustrating and not the first time I've had difficulty using these services.

Helped me with my divorce back in 2011.
