Told me over the phone he was interested in my case. He told me to come downtown to talk to him about it, then when I came down and had to pay alot for parking (they don't endorse parking) he told me he wasn't interested in the case. It was a big waste of time and a big disappointment.

I have known Dave Murphy, and had him representing me for over 22 years. He has also represented me both personally and my business. He has been my representative with business employment agreements and business sell agreements. I have had the opportunity to testify for Mr. Murphy as an expert witness in my profession. He is very thorough and well prepared in every action I have been associated with. No rock is left unturned. I have trusted Dave with all issues of my private and professional life. I do not hesitate to contact him with everything. Dave was instrumental in setting up the documents for establishing my business structure (LLC), associate employment agreements, partnership sell agreements and succesfully defending them when purchaser tried to default on payment. He acted as my professional advisor throughout my career, and represented my LLC when legal opinions and review were needed. I have given expert testimony for my patients who were represented by Mr. Murphy after suffering bodily injury. I found his approch to be very thorough and incisive. He was very willing to learn the intricacys of the injuries and long time effects.

It is with great honor and pleasure that I submit this recommendation for David L. Murphy. Dave successfully represented me in a very complicated medical malpractice case several years ago. Many local attorneys are aware of this famous, “C-diff Case”. He “inherited” the case after several other attorneys politely bowed out. It is my opinion that as they got deeper into the case and started to analyze the complexity and heavy time commitment that would be required to take it to trial and win, it scared them off. As I later found out, not all attorneys are capable of taking medical malpractice cases to trial, let alone win them and any subsequent appeals. Dave is capable of all the above. Not only did Dave win the case, he then represented me at the first level appeal, and won against a large, NYC law firm that specializes in medical malpractice appeals. He beat them so badly that they decided not to request a second appeal at the highest level state appeals court in Albany. Dave won the trial and appeal in an honest and ethical manner. There were no deceptions or smoke screens, just the facts. When Dave is in court, he is extremely well prepared and hyper focused on the trial. I was so impressed how he outperformed a larger law firm representing a client with deep pockets. He is tenacious and in total control. He was impenetrable to the tricks they threw at him. He has a way of getting all the information he needs out of the witnesses without most of them realizing what he’s doing. Many of them stepped down from the witness stand dumbfounded. I was in awe of his trial skills! Dave is not only an ethical and technically astute attorney, he is a very down-to-earth, caring and compassionate human being. He was very sensitive to everything I suffered both physically and mentally and treated me with the utmost dignity and respect. Also, the financial judgment was so much more than I would have accepted if a decent settlement had been offered, which it wasn’t. In my opinion, Dave is the first attorney you should call to discuss your potential medical malpractice or personal injury case. He will personally speak with you and give you an honest assessment of your case.
