Jonathan instantly understood the complexities and the urgency in assuring not only that my case was handled swiftly but also that my son and I were protected from my ex. He allowed me to be a part of the process from the beginning and was able to walk me through each step in order for me to make an informed decision. He maintained his calm and confident demeanor and this allowed me to keep as much emotion out of the decisions as I was able in order to see why the process went the way it did.

Personal and professional...something that is rare in a law firm. My paperwork was forwarded to me (and to opposing counsel) in a timely manner, questions were answered without condescension or attitude and, in the end, my anxiety about the divorce was removed and a fair agreement was made. Tough to complain about that.

I hired the Trotto law firm for my divorce. Jonathans word was "We will hit him hard, hit him fast. He wont know what hit him". Well that "fast took almost 2 years and over $15,000.00. Jonathan said I have a simple divorce and it will be no more than $5000.00. I was not part of my divorce. Johnathan did not ask me how I felt about certian issues. Just keep delaying for more money. I finally had to contact the supreme court myself!

Jonathan did not fight for me. Every time I wanted a more aggressive approach he talked me out of it. He allowed a lie from my ex to now be in a court document as fact. I honestly felt he was part of a team that included the judge, my ex's lawyer and him. I did not feel my life was safe with him and I wish I would have spoke up. At least I can help another single mom from making this same mistake.
