My case began back in 1992, when I was medically discharged and not retired from the Army after a very traumatic injury while parachuting. Tom received the case from another attorney at the law firm and he did an excellent case brief for the Army Board of Correction. They saw the error of injustice and concurred that I was underrated on my disability percentage. I was at 20 percent when I was discharged from the Army in 1992. The new MEB and PEB determined that I should have been rated higher and my new disability rating increased to 50 percent. It has been almost 30 years since this injustice occurred and it was finally corrected. Tom was able to effectively articulate a case brief that made the Army Board of Correction rule in my favor. My family and I are very grateful to Tom and those who supported him at the law firm.
