I am with this firm for more than 5 years now. The other party has already settled last October of last year... but instead of giving me the check they hold on to it because according to them they have the right to hold my check until they got the lien letter from the medicaid which I told them already that I did not owe. I felt like I got scammed by this firm. I have to get a loan from them with unbelievably high interest and since they are keeping my check the interest is building up. So maybe working with them for more than 5 years I will end up owing them instead of getting my settlement check. There is a lot of competitive law firm in the city which charges the same amount as them. The lady from settlement sounds very annoyed whenever I call them to check.
