"I was referred to Gregory Spektor & Associates by a Physical Therapy facility, and while the initial intake went smoothly, my experience with the settlement department has been nothing short of frustrating. The receptionists are pleasant, but the settlement department is unprofessional and incompetent. I signed my paperwork at the end of July, and by August 8th, Geico confirmed that the settlement check had been received and deposited. However, when I called Gregory Spektor’s office on August 21 to check the status, I was told by someone named Michael that no check had come in for me. I informed him that this wasn’t true, as Geico had already confirmed that the check was mailed and cashed on the 8th. He then retracted his statement, claiming that Geico sends the check early and he hadn't yet sent the paperwork to them. This made no sense, as Geico does not process settlement checks without proper documentation. I was told to call back a week later. When I did, I was told they still hadn’t given the paperwork to Michael’s supervisor, and I’ve been met with excuses and delays ever since. It’s been over six weeks, and I still haven’t received my money. I strongly advise against using this law firm for settlement cases. Their shady practices and lack of professionalism have made this experience unnecessarily stressful. Take your case elsewhere!"
