Jo Ann was very helpful and professional during the mediation process of our divorce. She was clear and concise about each and every step. She kept us on track to reach our ultimate goal. The office setting was very clean and quiet and also abide by all COVID guidelines. Thank you Jo Ann.

Jo Ann was beyond professional and very easy to work with. She was very attentive to our situation and wanted to help us reach a resolution. I felt beyond comfortable at all times and not once did I feel she was trying to favor either side. The office was beyond clean and their check in process is very efficient. To me, that's very important with everything going on nowadays.

Jo Ann was referred to me by another professional that is part of the Collaborative Divorce Process team. I went into this process not knowing about how the Mediation or Collabrative process worked. Jo Ann genuinely knows this process exceptionally well, is supportive and kind, and was in my corner 24/7, making sure that I was not taken advantage of. Most of all, she provided me with encouragement, strength, reassurance and guidance , during a severely emotional and devastating time, in one’s life, when one never expected this turn in their life. I highly recommend Jo Ann as a lawyer and confidante. I knew she always had my back and would not let me get hurt in the process. She always invested her time in bettering this process for me. Jo Ann also assisted me with information and resources how to proceed independently, as a STRONG WOMAN, with how to go on with my life, after a extremely bitter divorce. Joann Shartrand was incredibly kind and compassionate during what was (still is) an incredibly difficult time in our lives. She was very patient and took the time to explain everything to us, no matter how minute the detail; and she did so with no condescension. We never felt rushed or as if we were wasting her time, and throughout the entire time with her, we felt that she was working constantly to do what was in the best interest of us both. This was a very difficult decision made between my husband and myself, and while it was done out of love it was not easy. I am so grateful that we were lucky enough to find Joann to shepherd us through this very trying experience.

Very easy to get an appointment with her. She is very knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. The office is comfortable for mediating. She was a great help in keeping us realistic. I highly recommend her for anyone going through a divorce and would like to try mediation first.

I consulted three attorneys that were primarily advocates of attorney vs attorney kind of representation. After meeting with JoAnn, I decided on the mediation route for my divorce. JoAnn was very professional throughout the process and always kept my objectives in mind. She was always there for support of any kind in a very timely manner (unlike some attorneys you wait days for a response). She handled all negotiations fairly but firmly when needed. I would highly recommend JoAnn.

She is the most unprofessional attorney in the area. Beware. She is only out to take your money and delivers no results. What she does is tie up the court to keep extracting money from her clients. Do not hire her. She uses old laws that have been revised and lies to her clients. Steer clear of this pretentious lawyer.

If you are a male looking for a fair mediation stay far far away from her. She at all times sides with the females. Through the entire process I felt like I was dealing with an attorney representing my ex. She even made comments and pushed my ex wife to go after more money and retirement funds after an agreement was made. What a mistake. Use at your own risk, guys you have been warned. Women definitely hire her.
