While I am only in the beginning phase of working with this office, so far my experience has been 10/10. I have been working with Ed and I have been taken seriously and treated with respect. He is very friendly and easy to communicate with. I feel confident and comfortable moving forward with them!

Michael Clarke just helped me get a divorce. He made the entire process easy and stress free and the divorce was finalized a lot sooner than I could have imagined! He answered all emails and questions I had very fast and efficiently. I am so happy and thankful for everything he did!

I got rear ended, and hired Dan D’Agostino from Harding and Mazzotti… I’m very busy and I’m hard to get a hold of and I would have to say this is the best law firm… not only did they keep following up with me to get the paperwork they needed from me to start the claim, but they were fast and responsive and settling the claim and got me a great settlement. I didn’t have to lift a finger besides giving them the initial paperwork that they requested and they were very good about calling me to let me know what they needed . I have hired other attorneys for other cases and it’s a total nightmare, and they don’t do anything and this lawyer went above and beyond to make sure that everything was done quickly and effectively and I would give them my recommendation to anybody.

I was lucky enough to be assigned Attorney Starks, I had just relieved my prior counsel at another law firm in Broome County, NY. He drove out and met me in the Syracuse office, then asked me a couple quick questions and within 30 minutes he had listened and agreed with my concerns that I had vented to my prior counsel. With only a couple day’s preparation he was able to go into a hearing and get me a State jurisdiction case. 5 weeks later he won the case for me, the fight still continues in my home state but I can tell you from experience, hands down Mr Starks was one of the most level headed and intelligent attorneys I have had the pleasure to deal with. If you want my background I deal with law offices regularly for different matters and Mr Starks and the Colwell law firm out did the rest of my prior counsels and law firms that I have worked with, in 2 states worth of counsel. If you need a good attorney, especially family court he is your man. As for Colwell law, thank you and from one business owner/employer/manager promote this man above his peers within your firm, he deserves it!

Colwell law was recommended to me by a coworker. I had already met with 2 other law practices and was not pleased. From the first phone call I made to Colwell law, I felt they understood how difficult and emotionally painful it is to go through a divorce. During the initial phone consultation, the interviewer not only explained how the practice worked, but she offered support and compassion. All of their staff seemed to understand the importance of kindness with their clients. I was fortunate to have been assigned Kaitlyn Foley, Esq. as my attorney. Kaitlin was extremely knowledgeable about the legalities of divorce and was able to offer sound advice during the settlement process. She was able to help me understand and interpret the many legal documents and her expertise as a divorce attorney led us to a very positive outcome. I won’t get into details but my experience with M, H & M was a complete cliche of a law firm only looking for the quick $ vs the care of their client. They followed up and were completely responsive until we chose them to represent us. After that, little to follow up or follow through. No proactive updates from anyone but clerical staff and quick paralegal conversations if we called. We never heard the end result of our case from them directly BUT they were paid. The only positive part of their business from my perspective is the catchy little jingle which makes them much more of a marketing company vs a law firm in my opinion. Truly a disappointing experience.
