When our mom relocated to Florida, we contacted a Florida attorney to have the appropriate legal documents in place. However, over the years her health met with assorted challenges. A bout of protracted health issues transpired and the decision was made to return her to New York. We soon realized that Florida estate planning documents may not be easily utilized in New York State. It became abundantly clear that New York documents were necessary. The firm being dually admitted in New York and Florida was more than capable to bridge the two states and assist our mom and family.
