I had an amazing experience with Cheryl and her team. I recently moved back to NY and had to redo my estate planning documents. Cheryl and her team were extremely responsive, patient and kind throughout the entire process. She has two offices which makes it extremely convenient. She is always available to answer any questions no matter how small. In addition to being an amazing attorney, she is also a kind and genuine person and makes this whole process much easier. I was very fortunate to have hired Cheryl Fratello for my closing which involved trusts. I really appreciate the time, expertise and effort she took to ensure I would have a easy, manageable closing. Her empathy really touched me after my husband died. She understood my concerns and tried her best to console and advise me along the way. I couldn't be happier with the job that Cheryl Fratello did on a recent very difficult real estate transaction. What originally started as an ordinary deal turned into a very difficult situation as the estate was challenged by one of the heirs. If it weren't for Cheryl's dedication and problem solving ability we would never have been able to close this deal. Planning for an aged parent can be a daunting task - where to begin / so many questions with answers that lead to new questions / the many directions the process can go in, etc.. So finding the right attorney was extremely important to us, not just because you want and need someone competent with good judgment, but also someone who's responsive and constructive in planning for someone you love. So in the process of my research I left a message one Friday afternoon for this an attorney named Cheryl who I had read about, not expecting to hear a response until the following week. To my surprise, she called back that afternoon and had the courtesy of telling me that she wanted to return the call before the weekend came. Wow, that was impressive. But beyond that, during the conversation I felt a sense of assurance that she knew her stuff as she responded logically and patiently to my questions & topping it off was genuinely pleasant as well. So we ended up retaining Cheryl for the initial consultation and from there we would decide as a family which direction to take with regard to mom's financial and estate planning needs. Cheryl was absolutely the right choice - she explained all aspects of elder planning in understandable fashion and really enabled us to think effectively on the many options that were in the best interest of mom. We subsequently ended up retaining Cheryl again for the set-up of mom's Trust. Fast forward to today, Cheryl has been exemplary - always responds back in reasonable fashion whenever needed, puts everything in context so it’s understandable & I've had the pleasure of referring her to several of my friends for the needs of their aged parents. Highly recommended.
