Very rude and curt.

John Murphy is a Great lawyer, explained everything from the beginning to the end. He was helpful, informative and quick to give a helping hand. I’m very pleased with the service provided and will work with him again.

Thank You Yan Katsnelson for your Professionalism and compassionate with answering any questions and making the best possible decision there was for my son. He was there for us at every court date and phone call. He's very smart and knowledgeable about the justice system. He's very reasonable priced and worth every penny. I highly recommend Mr Katsnelson. He also was able to decrease my sons charges and in the end dismissed the case with minimal consequences and gave my son good advice to stay out of trouble and to choose your friends wisely and not to let them influence you it's a tough age at 18 and my son did learn but the hard way.

First I want to THANK Mr KatsNelson for the huge part he played in my freedom today. 2018 I was arrested on 11 counts of a firearms. It was a wrong place wrong time situation for me. My bail was 150,000 and he assured my family he would get me out on bail and he did! Never have I ever been in trouble with the law before so this was all new to me. When I met Mr KatsNelson he was polite, informative, knowledgeable and very assuring and confident in beating this case. Not to mention he’s very well known among his peers and the community of Staten Island. He ALWAYS called me back when I had doubt and fears to assure me we will be the case. He was DETERMINED to get me my freedom. He treated my like I was a family member and not a client. He took time out his day to write referral letters for me to keep my job. My case was very high profile but that didn’t stop him at all. He accepted the challenge charge me a GREAT price and did more than what he got paid for. I live out of state and needed a attorney in NEW York terribly bad. After calling 10 attorneys and being pushed around time and time again I made 5 minute phone call to this office. After a brief discussion with his assistant, she transferred me over to him right away! No note taking, no question-air, no voicemails--just direct assistance. Within hours John got right back to me via email with all the information needed to move forward with the case. Hes been a blessing in my life, all the way from Florida!

I met Yan socially at a local cigar lounge 6 years ago.He handed me a business card & we always greeted each other when in public.Who would ever think that I need his professional services down the road. After my arrest I called his office in mediately and left a message and he tracked me through the system and met me at the courthouse in the morning . He even took the time to speak to my wife explained that everything would work out OK. Yan kept me calm and explained that he would have everything dismissed in six months and he did !!! He didn’t beat me over the head with legal fees either.He knows the System and how they work. I personally recommend him I would use him again if I have a needed.

About six years ago I met Yan amongst other friends & Was professionally introduced. Who in the world would ever think that only a few years later I will need his assistance in a criminal matter and when he had it completely dismissed in six months like he said he would.He comforted my wife with professionalism and came down to the holding cells before I went to the judge to let me know what was going to be going on. If you need a lawyer I will tell you that he is what he says he is and does not sugarcoat anything. It was a six-month deal deal yet we walked out with the case dismissed
