"Bite Back" Review of Jonathan D'Agostino and Associates Law Firm October 18, 2022 On 31 May of this year (2022) I was riding a Suzuki LS650 motorcycle on Richmond Terrace in Staten Island's North Shore. As I passed the 120 NYPD Precinct an individual in a black Nissan Altima made an illegal u-turn directly in front of me. I stood on my back brake and managed to hit the individual sideways rather than head on. Net result: a broken forearm and a dislocated wrist. A "Galeazzi Fracture." In the trauma centre at the RUMC ED my surgeon said I was going to need surgery, an "ORIF", an Open Reduction Internal Fixation, i.e. a steel plate in my arm. He asked if I was going to keep riding. I said, "Hell yes." At that point I realised I needed an attorney and remembered seeing the Doberman "Bite Back" advert on the sides of MTA buses. While I was being prepped for surgery I called Jon D'Agostino's office and asked for help. His investigator, Joe, was at the hospital before I got called for surgery. There was something about Joe, I knew he rode. He said yes. Turned out we have a friend in common - Mark Crescitelli of Gotham Motorcycles. From that day forward D'Agostino and Associates had my back. I am particularly indebted to Jennifer Catanzarite who did my intake processing and ultimately my payout, explaining to me what was happening, every step of the way. Four months later I did something no one thought possible. I rode my surviving bike (the Suzi was totaled) to D'Agostino's office to get my check. I am indebted to Police Officers Melodie Muniz and Ron Woody, the men of FDNY Engine 155 who responded to the 911 Motorcycle Down call, my orthopedic surgeon, Mikhail Khaimov (Richmond University Medical Center), my PT guy Rick Garcia of NY Chiropractic and Physical Therapy but also to Jon D'Agostino. I wanted nothing more than to put this painful experience in the rear view mirror of my Enfield motorbike and Jennifer, Joe and Jon made this happen - very quickly. I got a good payout and am grateful to everyone who helped me. Look, no one wants to get banged up, especially bikers, but it's good to know there is a firm that gives a damn and has your back. I don't know about anyone else but for me talking to an investigator who rides made a huge difference. They get it. We don't hit cars. They hit us. Thank God for D'Agostino.

I had a lawsuit with this firm years ago and was satisfied with the outcome. I'm not sure who is in charge now but this is no longer a law firm I can recommend to others. I told my daughter to use them for her lawsuit and she is having a terrible experience. I keep telling her to change lawyers but she doesn't want to deal with the hassle. It is taking way too long for her case to be resolved and you'd wait until you are blue in the face for an update. My daughter constantly has to be on top of her case for some movement to occur. This firm shows no compassion for their clients. I suggest you search elsewhere because these people do not care about your time nor your troubles.
