If you are the defendant in a civil case as I was you would be better off looking for a new lawyer Jesse, unless you want to spend lots of money to lose at trial when he offers no defense, trial prep, objections or plan of action other than to bill you for clerical work nicely laid out on his bill. Plan to lose your case as the other side will get full judgment at trial against you. Jesse will follow up with his bill for making you lose.
