From the first time I contacted Steve, he guided me through every process and met all expectations. He went above and beyond and was happy to help along the way. He even helped me when he was on vacation. You'd think he was two people because he really gave 200%. He was empathetic to my anxieties and a shark where it was needed. I would recommend him to anyone.

Steven helped me in settling my dad's estate in the absence of a will. My dad had dementia and a lot of documents were lost. Steven took care of all the court filings and contacting car companies to settle outstanding loans without me setting foot anywhere, which I appreciated. He was a calming factor during a difficult time. Steven is very prompt in replying to my calls and emails. I am very happy with his services and knowledge.

Even the most straight forward divorce is still tough and Steven was a great constant & support during the process. He was helpful, understanding, patient and consistent. Especially as all this occurred during the stress and uncertainty of the pandemic, I also appreciate the thoughtful way he handled situations with my spouse, opposing counsel and the court.

Simply the best divorce lawyer, was fast and efficient in solving the divorce process for us

So I was definitely new at finding a Lawyer in Staten Island. I went to a female figuring she would be able to relate to me just a thought. Well my thoughts were so wrong she took my money for my consultation and would barely listen to my story until I agreed to hire her, Needless to say I walked out upset and never hired her so I was already down 300 Dollars. very odd story I run to CVS and meet a very nice women in the store and we are talking about vitamins next thing I know we were spilling our guts to each other about our divorce and she tells me about Steven Schwatzman. I said at this point im so confused and said what do I have to lose I will try him out. Well the moment we met I felt comfortable speaking to him. We sat and he said tell me everything without even asking for a dime yet. I spoke for 30 minutes and he Listened and gave me advice while I still had not told him he was going to be hired from me. I didn't have to think twice he was hired and had definitely lived up to my standards of kindness and has not let me down. I highly recommend Steven. Five years after being hauled into court by my sister and given Executrix status by the court, I was still being harassed by her attorney with things going nowhere. Mr. Schwartzman and his team were hired to guide me through an uncontested divorce. Mr. Schwartzman and his law firm had been recommended by a close friend of mine who also practices law, but in a different specialty.
