I was in contract with another lawyer since 2020 who took my money and did very minimal work. This lawyer kept blaming the delays on the impact of COVID -19 and the lack of service in the Divorce Court. Eventually, I was not able to reach that lawyer via phone or in person. After multiple attempts of going back to his office in Brooklyn and leaving messages with his Clerk and Answering service I was making no progress. I found out from the court that the initial doc was presented to the court but needed many more to be attached before it could be presented to the Judge. My life was at a standstill. I was stuck! Late 2022 my daughter went online and found Mr Shumer and he was very understanding of my circumstance. Needless to say, he took over my case and immediately things began to improve. He was my life saver!!. I finally got the Great news this week that my Divorce was completed. Words cannot express how elated I was hearing those words. Finally, I will be able to move on with the plans Ive made. Thank you again Mr Shumer. God Bless!

From beginning to end the firm kept me apprised of what to expect and when. Explained everything to do with closing on my home and when we ran into some issues, I was kept aware as to the why's and provided solutions for a good outcome. Staff has good communications skills and are very patient, professional and caring. I would recommend this law firm.
