I do not recommend this lawyer. They were horrible about keeping me updated on the status of my case. I almost missed my court date because they told me that they postponed it and they filed the paperwork wrong. I found out about my court date by receiving a letter directly from the court just a few days before the court date. I moved to a completely different state on the other side of the country and they were expecting me to be in the court. I had to call the court directly to straighten everything out and luckily the judge allowed me to do the hearing over the phone. I only talked to the lawyer one time, less than 24 hours before my hearing. Luckily, I was awarded a completely favorable decision, but the whole experience with my representation was not pleasant. I would not want anyone else to have to deal with bad representation when going through something that is already as stressful as this process already is. Save yourself the grief and use a different lawyer.

Most of the reason for the five stars is the wonderful work of representative, Terry Schmidt. She was efficient, explained things clearly, with detail and precision .She invited questions and answered them slowly; I followed easily.She did not push her opinion on me;she gave me knowledge and reminded me the choice was mine. Her actions in the courtroom carried strength without being overbearing.She had explained what would happen before tthe he judge, so I felt prepared. Terry was personable and pleasant to work with; she was friendly and cared about my case and cared about me. That went such a long way toward my faith in t he Olinsky law firm. Hang on to Terry.!
