Jeff is a great experienced lawyer to know. He knows his way around the court houses and is very familiar with the local legal community. He's down to earth and he will fight for you!

I would recommend Deroberts Law Firm to anyone .We hired him to handle our custody case and so glad we did .Jeff is a very upfront honest lawyer I've ever met he pulls no BS and takes none either .He fought for us and got the outcome he promised he would from day one and more .He definitely puts the best interest of not only the adults but the children involved also .And his staff is so kind and helps with whatever they can .I would highly recommend this firm and will definitely use them if needed again .If you want a lawyer who will fight for you he is the one .Thank you Jeff for all you did .

Mr Deroberts went above and beyond for us in our custody case. He is a very honest to the point person and doesn't give you false hope .He fought hard and got the us what he promised .I'd use him again if needed and highly recommend him to anyone . His assistant's are very friendly and go out of their way to help in any way they can .Truly a law firm who really cares about their clients .

Jeff is very arrogant , totally unprofessional , I used him in a divorce while waiting to go into court room he acted like a spoiled brat, so unprofessional , I would NOT recommend him for anything ever.

I paid them to take care of 3 tickets for me and the 3rd one they did nothing just pled guilty to the fine and I got 4 points on my license , then I tried to get a hold of them for another ticket and no one answers the phone and no call back , very disappointed with this company!

Best Lawyer in New York State

This lawyer should not be practicing family law. Perhaps he’s good at criminal law—I like ‘down to business’ but he lacked the ability to communicate with me. I confided experiences with him in hopes he would believe me when I told him what my ex would do. The ex did what I said and my attorney advised me not to file a police report when I had an order of protection already. I was CHARGED FOR EVERY SINGLE conversation—including the one where he wrongly advised me. I filed the second order of protection on my own—there should have been a file for the other party violating a custody order in place currently. I have a list of complaints. I was completely disappointed to say the least, I feel cheated out of my hard earned money. I have filed all kinds of documents for court in the past, I really expected him to attack the situation. I know COVID I understand. What I am referring to is his lack of diligence and attention to me. Instead, I felt neglected, pushed aside for “more important matters” and I also witnessed other unprofessional behaviors I will not get into. I had such high hopes as he came highly recommended by a friend. This attorney wasn’t helpful to me at all. I like the guy though—he definitely has confidence and charm kind of like my ex!!!!

Awful awful awful! When he gets you in for a consultation, he will tell you everything you want to hear. And as soon as you hand over that retainer fee, it’s all downhill from there. He talks too fast and won’t let you get a word in. When you manage to get a chance to speak, he proceeds to talk over you. He handled my custody case so poorly and cowardly bowed down to the other attorney in court. My ex was awarded everything he asked for because DeRoberts didn’t fight for me. He agreed to things I did not want to agree too and now I’m stuck with them the way they are. Find yourself a different attorney to represent you if you want to win your case!

Not just as a lawyer he is an amazing person willing to help when he can. Wasn't sure how the name rang a bell but after meeting him i later realized he was my family lawyer when i was younger and did them proud. If you want the best look no further because you get his complete attention and honest answers. Don't hesitate and go for a second rate lawyer when it's worth having the best in the business by your side. Thanks for everything. Ryan Brownell and family thank you!
