Great Experience Amazing Team

I wouldn’t recommend using this firm... they just want to make a quick profit and don’t care about their clients or their clients best interests! I was treated like garbage by one of their so called lawyers and was told that I would need to settle or find other council. His name is Anthony Tantillo. After a heated conversation about the settlement offer and the fact that my medical payoff had increased by $5000, which went from $7800-$12800 from the second settlement offer. I told him to talk to my wife in which he was rude, vulgar and disrespectful and basically threatened her too. Eventually, after I had a pre trial conference with my appointed lawyer from there, the judge and the insurance companies lawyer I finally decided to settle for peanuts after being laid up on the couch for 5 months with a broken leg, foot and numerous lacerations on my leg. Hurt my neck, back and wrist after a vehicle turned in front of me while I was on a motorcycle. She was in fact 100% responsible so liability was not an issue. They just wanted a quick pay day without having to go to trial. I would of been better off not hiring a lawyer and I wouldn’t of had to pay back the medical that I wouldn’t have had if it weren’t for the drivers negligence. Hopefully it NEVER HAPPENS AGAIN... but if it ever does I’ll be representing MYSELF!!!

Why all the advertising? Could be because of how they treat their clients! Even a blind mouse will find cheese........seems to apply here. Years ago my mother was involved in a car accident. She was turning left as she was hit (T-Boned) by a speeding car. My mother hired the William Mattar Law firm to represent her. By the time her case came to trial, the William Mattar agency replaced her lawyer three times. The trial attorney never met my mother as she passed away prior to trial. I represented my mother as her executor. The defendant’s attorney made an offer just prior to trial that was never presented to me. My mother’s attorney told me after the trial was over that the offer was too low and that I would not accept it. Of course I would have preferred to have the option to accept the offer. If I had accepted the offer Mattar’s earnings would have been minimal. My experience with the William Mattar Law Firm was one of complete frustration. The constant advertising barrage reminds me daily of the poor legal representation the William Mattar Lawfirm “provided”. The trial lawyer having no first hand knowledge of my mother’s case presented a lack luster closing argument that resulted in a very quick unfavorable loosing verdict. I would never hire the William Mattar Law Firm. I recommend you think through your decision prior to repeating my mistake and hopefully you will avoid the pain and frustration I experienced!

I can say that one thing I appreciate the most is the customer service. Not one time when I called with questions, from the initial phone call, did any of the ladies give me the impression that I was a bother to them. Most of the time I had the same person to talk to, Carly, but I also talked with others. Everyone I talked with could answer my questions, even if it was a new person and if they couldn’t, they gave my call or question to someone who could. They do listen to you and answer your questions and if they don’t have an answer, they get back to you in a timely manner. The gentleman I spoke with first, who went through the paperwork with me, was well informed and took the time to explain the contract. I asked questions, he answered them. The only real work I had to do was keep them informed of any doctors I had to see and they reminded me when I had to go to the IME doctors. Steve, my lawyer, kept me informed at different stages. Although I did wish he was more available to talk with, I also understand he has other clients and that’s why he has paralegals who work with him. Believe it or not, the paralegals do have the expertise to answer the questions you have for the lawyer the majority of the time. They will, however; never give you an amount they think your case could be settled for, they will refer you to your lawyer each time. Steve never once lead me to believe I could get an amount that was not appropriate for my situation. He has been doing this for years and was spot on when he gave an amount he could settle for. My case was not as significant as other people’s, but they still treated me as if it was just as equal. It doesn’t matter whether you think you do or do not have significant injuries, call them and let them decide that for you if you are considering a lawsuit. They will not take a case unless they know it’s viable and they can win. Hopefully I never need their service again, I prefer not to be involved in another accident, but if I did, I would call them first.
