My husband who is a US citizen (Chris Carson) first found Mr. Nichols when we were engaged and I was planning to immigrate to America. I am now happily married with Chris, and living and working in upstate New York. Soon after my arrival in the US, my sister who lives in Turkey had expressed her desire to come and visit me and my husband. However, she had encountered several barriers to obtaining her visitor visa. One major issue was the extremely long wait times she experienced when trying to book a visa interview. Due to COVID delays (and perhaps other factors unknown to us), she had to wait 6+ months just to get an interview. Then, upon her arrival at the interview she was immediately rejected for what seemed like arbitrary reasons (i.e. she did not have kids)! Her next chance at an interview in Turkey would have been more than 1 year later. We decided to talk to Mr. Nichols about helping her obtain a visitor visa. We knew this was slightly outside of his "wheelhouse" considering this would not be an immigration visa, but he was happy to take her on as a client and help to strategize a way to get her a visa so she could come visit us. I'm happy to say that within ~3 months of contacting Mr. Nichols, my sister had her interview and was granted a 10-year, multiple entry visa. She is now able to come and visit me at will. Mr Nichols and I were in contact before the consultation. He asked questions then and when we met at his office. He tried everything possible to meet the immigration needs I had and he founded by reading a book and translated to my wife and I. He gets personal to get to know you and not just for your case. I grew up in Central New York and my best friend's father has been my "go to" for legal guidance as he has practiced law in CNY for several decades.
