I do recommend this office for immigration cases based on my recent personal experiences, so please read and make your own informed decision. I navigated the immigration process for my wife over several years, and it was nothing less than arduous and nearly impossible. Before I met Mr Nichols, I attempted to seek help from several other attorneys here in the US, Canada, and Greece. They were ridiculously costly and asked for payment before I even could speak to a lawyer and determine where and if they could help at all; I decided to go it alone. Soon I discovered you need a lawyer even to translate the requirements into common language. This is NOT a simple process, neither are instructions written plainly nor is there help in interpreting what really is being asked for. It takes more than intelligence and writing acumen to figure out what actually is required, and more than stalwart determination (required) and patience to endure the endless waiting, wondering (and worrying) necessary to accomplish simple goals. After years and much expense, we were successful, but it came at an egregious price both financially and personally. I only wish I contacted Craig's office sooner. Later, after learning my lesson, I decided to hire the services of NLO to bring my daughter from Greece. What a difference. I expect a contracted expert to fulfill his obligations and work on my behalf, but feel obligated to let others know when he goes beyond professional expectations in infusing himself and his staff with a sense of my goals and concerns. Craig did this. Knowing immigration law and having a body of knowledge based on many years of experience is useful, but Craig's personal involvement and heartfelt enthusiasm are things that cannot be contracted for. There is something good to be said about a person who still cares about his clients and performs his duties for the same reason he bothered to choose his profession in the first place. BTW, I am an educated natural-born citizen, I never hire lawyers for anything I can do myself, and make average income. I still would ask NLO for legal advice in the future, and I recommend you also do when necessary. For immigration matters, it IS necessary, and I say this as a fella who did it once on his own and then once as a client of Nichols Law Offices. My family succeeded, with Craig's help, and I hope yours does as well.

When confronted with possible deportation proceedings and only having one week to respond, Craig literally saved our family. His entire staff worked non-stop to help us file an emergency petition. They prepared us for what was to come, and helped to alleviate the fear and worry about me losing my wife and step-daughters. As of Monday I can happily state that all of their hard work paid off. I had the pleasure of working with Craig Nichols when obtaining both my green card and my citizenship. I did not even hesitate when I became eligible for naturalization to approach Mr. Nichols for assistance again, and I would not have done it any other way. Each challenge and complication that arose was handled with ease by his office. He and his staff are skilled, professional, and well versed in the entire immigration process. His staff was always pleasant to work with and all burdens were lifted off of me.
