If you are looking for an attorney, look no further than Mary Fangio. Where do I start? She has the legal skills and know-how to get the job done. That’s a given. What really sets Mary apart from the rest is that she is kind and compassionate, extremely easy to work with, communicates with her clients every single step of the way, and has an innate drive to solve any problem that may arise. She will always be on your side, fighting for you. She will do whatever she has to do, in order to get the job done. And once Mary has represented you, she will continue to be there for you, no matter what you need or when. We recently called her, out of the blue, needing help with something related to the sale of our home from 5 years ago - she helped us without a moments hesitation, solving what seemed to be an insurmountable issue within an hour. She is as close to having your best friend as your attorney as you can get. Thank you, Mary.

I normally do not write online reviews, but in case I felt it was necessary. I was referred to Mary to handle my bankruptcy case. She was very thorough and ensured I understood the process by not using legal jargon. Above all else, she was compassionate and understood that life happens with regard to my financial issues. As embarrassing it is to admit financial issues, she never made me feel as a lesser person. If I had any questions she always followed up in a timely manner, whether it was by email or phone. Thanks to Mary I was given the opportunity to start over and can't express enough the gratitude I have.

100% professional!! Got us through a very difficult time. Listened to our needs and concerns. Defended us all the way through the bankruptcy process not just at the beginning. Cared about myself and my family!
Would highly recommend Mary Fangio!

I called to try to get help with a real estate problem and the woman I talked to was very rude and condescending.Maybe that'sa how she wins her cases, but to a potential client, it was inappropriate. She didn';t even give me her name when she picked up the phone, and as I was trying to explain, she shushed me, and said "I know that you want to tell me what happened, but I'm the one who needs to be talking right now." Then she started asking a bunch of condescending rhetorical questions like "Didn't you have a realtor?" "Didn't you have a lawyer at your closing?" "Didn't he tell you that you needed to do this and that?" Obviously I had a realtor, you need a realtor to buy a house in the state of NY. Obviously I had a lawyer, you need one of those, too. So after shushing me and making me listen to her "questions" she told me my case "wasn't a slam dunk" and at that point I just told her to have a good day, and hung up. I am a young first time home buyer, and she made me feel like absolute dirt in a matter of minutes. I am already having to deal with this awful legal case and her talking to me like that actually made me cry. I can't imagine doing any sort of work with people like this.
