I hired Mr. Scheinman about 3 years ago to handle my divorce and also for the purchase of my home. He was professional and showed me all my options. It was a very stressful divorce and he couldn't have been more empathetic. I never expected a lawyer to have a "human" side but he genuinely has a good heart and doesn't treat his clients like just a paycheck. Mr. Scheinman is easy to talk to and took a real interest in my case. My ex was being irrational and asking the Court for additional money that I didn't think was fair. The Judge was originally on the side of my ex but Doug battled hard and poked holes in her case.
