I would highly recommend Mr. Ackerman to anyone faced with filing for bankruptcy. Mr. Ackerman, as a formter trustee, knew precisely what a trustee would be looking for in an application for bankruptcy protection and what questions would be raised. I watched several individuals and their attorneys walk away from the trustee at their meeting of creditors without resolution as their attorneys had not prepared them or their applications properly. I was embarrassed for them. It was quite apparent to me at that meeting that there are many attorneys who may practice bankruptcy law, but certainly not all are qualified! We met and left with no adversity. When later a complication arose (after being forewarned by Mr. Ackerman of its possibility) he again went to bat for me and was able to convince the court to allow me to reaffirm my automobile loan and keep my car. Mr. Ackerman constantly updated me on what to expect next and helped keep me calm during a very stressful time.

From the first meeting I had with Neil, over 14 years ago, his over riding goal was to make sure I knew what I was getting into, what the pros and cons were and exactly what to expect. As my case progressed the same routine happened - what were the issues and what should I expect or not expect.
