He was my lawyer for two months representing me for child custody and partition of the house. In all the court appearances, Eugene seemed to appear without preparation and had difficulties remembering what happened in my case. When judge asked him a question, he normally couldn't answer or just said my client wanted it without giving any basis or reason, which made judge pretty angry, asking him why? And he couldn't answer. Many times, I had to plea him please say something for me in front of judge. He damaged my case, when I expressed my concerns to him during the process, he seemed to be defensive and had no clue. I fired him after two months.

It has been a pleasure working with Mr. Dougherty for the past few months. He was very thorough in explaining the process, documents and timelines. He was organized in getting all the necessary documents upfront and kept me informed in a timely manner of any updates. We hired Weiss and Weiss to help settle a property my wife had inherited with her brother in New York. We live in Wisconsin and needed someone to handle the potential partition action and then eventual sale of the property. The job was eventually completed, but it was a longer than normal process and the communication wasn't always the best.
