I came to know Karen Jansen by way of a mutual acquaintance when the prospect of divorce became a reality for me. Looking back I now recognize how fortunate I was for having received that referral. Throughout my entire divorce process Karen’s professionalism, exceptional legal acumen and genuine regard for my best interest were ever present. Further, Karen was steadfast in her quest for a fair and equitable resolution on my behalf, which we ultimately achieved. Never did I feel like a “client” instead, I felt like I was working with a trusted and devoted partner. I would highly recommend Karen for representation in a divorce / mediation. I hired Frank to handle post divorce issues and am completely satisfied with the results. 10 years, many court dates and multiple lawyers have given me a feel for this type of work and a skeptical cynicism as well. With Frank I felt different about the process. I consulted with a "Big Firm" prior to hiring Frank. They wanted to level a sand box with a bulldozer so we could "win". The costs would have been very high (I was given a range) and the children would have had their world turned on edge. But I was promised "results". I consulted with Frank. He outlined the range of outcomes and was realistic, not over promising. They process went smoothly, my outcome was almost exactly what I thought was fair (I have become more realistic over time) and his fees were completely appropriate. I recommended someone else to Frank and after a first meeting they felt the same comfort and hired him as well. She is in good hands and I believe she will be as satisfied as I am. Due to my specific situation Frank will be in my life going forwards and it's comforting to know he will be there as the inevitable issues come up. Yes, use Frank and you will be glad you did.

On 10/18/17 She laught in my face and told me I would never get my kid's back. She also said that she was not write up another petition at my request to get my kid's back and told me to give up after 9 year's of fighting in Westchester court and yelled at me in front of clients in the waiting area and in the hall way telling the children's attorney she was done speak with me and to stop fighting for my Kid's because judge Rice will never approve it. I cryed and walk out the court room I was so hurt at the way she treated me. And devalued me as a person and a human being i would not tell ppl to go to her or have any judge for that matter appoint you to her she doesn't value what she represents.
