I am eternally grateful to Katie Shipp, Jennifer Freeman and James Marsh of the Marsh Law Firm. Facing pregnancy discrimination during my school residency was the toughest experience in my life. One thing I learned is that If you are experiencing any type of discrimination and retaliation, things don’t get better, they only get worse. Katie, Jennifer and James provided me with great legal advice and with their expertise, I was able to fight back and ultimately complete my residency. Today, 2 years later, I still have nightmares and anxiety over my experience, but I have a good job and am able to provide for my family.
