Going through a divorce is tough enough. Having to choose an attorney is, well, I’m sure by now you have an idea! The uncertainty and having to ask yourself over and over… did I make the right choice. I looked at an overwhelming number of reviews on divorce attorneys and did quite a bit of research looking for one. I chose David Bliven, I couldn’t have been any happier in my choice. David is very meticulous, outgoing, and crystal clear in the way he conveys his thoughts and ideas, which helped me a great deal to gain the most of my divorce. David is a polished lawyer who knows what it takes to win, period. If you’re going through a divorce with children, know that David was the prosecutor for the NYC Administration for Children Services for 3 years. So, who better qualified to take care of your divorce than David? He’s the one you need and he will have your back. I highly recommend David Bliven, thank you David!

David Bliven is very professional and communicates with a high level of clarity, explaining the law and how the process works. He is always very prepared for court and you will feel properly represented. David is very fair and upfront around his fees and ensures you are not surprised. As with any good lawyer he is expensive but not unreasonable. In the case you get what you pay for and that is excellent legal representation and guidance.

My mother is an elderly Latina women who doesn't speak English and was in need of an attorney to assist her with pension issues after her divorce. She was weary of attorneys having dealt with one who was dishonest and self-interested only caring more about money than the case or representing her properly. They were the epitome of professionalism, more importantly, they cared and they listened. Mr. Bliven Esq. was honest about what could be done versus what couldn't be done and what the expenses may look like in advance prior to us mutually deciding that it was worth moving on with this case. He gave us room to think and review our options. He was strategic and follow up was timely. We were informed of every step he took and updated via email and phone and questions were answered promptly. (In English and Spanish- Belle is AMAZING!) We got the results we expected. I've known David for years, but I never inquired too much into his law practice. That changed when I needed a divorce.
