Andrew Proto is a great lawyer. I hired him to help a family member and as soon as we met I knew he was the best lawyer for my family. Andrew always called me and let me know what was going on in Court. He answered all my questions. The case was a family law issue and Andrew was very professional at every step. We met mostly at his White Plains office but I appreciated and fact he gave me his cell phone number and took my calls when I needed help after hours or on the weekend. I highly recommend Andrew.

Attorney Andrew Proto My experience with this law firm in White Plains, NY started unpleasantly because my minor criminal defense case was moving very slow ambiguously for over four months. I was getting extremely confused and stressed out. Then there was a reorganization at this firm which delayed my case further and my lawyer left the firm. However, everything cleared up rapidly once attorney Andrew Proto took over my case diligently. Andrew resolved my case and got me an ACD less than a month. In my opinion, Andrew is a professional lawyer who is highly knowledgeable in his field. His work was meticulous, and his communication with me was clear, precise and articulate. Furthermore, I couldn't believe he genuinely seemed to care for me. Many people that I know advised me not to trust lawyers completely because they only want money.... I hope I won't be needing a lawyer in future, but if I do, I would definitely contact Andrew again without any hesitation. Needless to say, I'd be happy to recommend him to my friends.

First class attorney We were thinking about a stepparent adoption and researched online a local attorney. Thank God we were able to find on the first try David Sachs. He met with us immediately and explained the process in detail. He has been throughout the whole process amazing. Always taking our calls and responding immediately to our questions. He made a stressful situation seamless and easy. Even post adoption he still communicates with us. We highly recommend him as an attorney. Definitely will use again if needed in the future.

Mr. Sachs is an amazing attorney! He had great communication throughout the entire process. We got the exact result we wanted even though I felt the cards were stacked against me. I would highly recommend Mr. Sachs to anybody in search of a lawyer.

One star is honestly too high of a rating for this company. They are bullies, they charge you for fixing errors they make, and WILL rob you they will tell you they sent you emails regarding invoicing when they do make sure things are correctly listed. I work in billing at a different law firm and can for sure tell you that once a payment is missed we are reaching out to see what is going on. DO NOT retain this firm for custody. They may get you out of a traffic ticket but will not do well in custody. When I first reached out to this Firm back in November of 2018 the managing partner made me feel confident in my custody case. I will admit that it was a tricky one because there was a lot going on. I retained the partner and he passed my case on to someone else in the firm. I retained the Firm for $3,600 and per retainer agreement was under the impression if I was close to reaching the $3,600, they would ask for an additional $1,500. Apparently, that was not the case. I did not receive a single invoice from March (when I retained the Firm) to September. In September, I receive a phone call from the partner and was told that I had an additional balance of $12,000. The Firm misspelled my email which is why I never received invoices. He tells me he acknowledges that I never had the opportunity to drop them as my attorneys because I could no longer afford them (clearly knows HIS Firm was wrong). He then tells me he’s doing me a favor by cutting the price in half to $6,000 in addition to the $3,600 I already gave him… as if he was doing me any favors. My thing is when you see a client hasn’t paid and a month goes by… why didn’t billing reach out? Why were no letters of delinquency sent? Why were no invoices mailed? All the Firm really did was send a boatload of emails which added up to $8,605, which is more than half of the additional $12,000. The attorney working on my case charged me to fix errors that she made- I don’t know about you, but if I made an error, I cannot charge my client for it. When I speak to the partner no 7 months later, he started to bully me into paying him a lumpsum that I didn’t have and when I explained it to him, he basically told me I should not bite the hand that feeds me. Me and my other parent were so close to settling that the partner told me he would still represent me because it was so close to ending. He did not fulfill his word yet expects me to pay an additional $6,000 which is $3,300 over the actual work the firm did.

Andrew Proto was extremely professional. I called him Monday morning regarding a speeding ticket. He handled everything and went to court that same day. My license was clear with no points as he had everything reduced by 5pm . It was an absolute pleasure dealing with this law office. You will not be disappointed.

I've been passively involved in unnecessary lawsuit two times in 2017 and 2018 respectively. The judge recommended Mr. Sachs to me. I am very grateful that I hired him for my two cases. He is professional and patient. The most important thing is that, he's never stopped fighting even until the last minute, which brought the best outcomes for me for all two cases! I'd recommend him to everyone who needs a lawyer.

Stephen was in charge of my case. I was charged with possession in the 7th degree with 2 traffic violations. Stephen and his group were able to turn it into a $220 fine. I'm not sure how but I'm very thankful that this case was closed quickly and with nothing to show on my record. Highly recommend to give these guys a shot for whatever criminal cases you may have.
