I'm a lawyer in another state. While visiting Westchester County a client of mine picked up two traffic citations. Mr. Sachs achieved an excellent resolution - dismissal of one citation and reduction of the second from a moving violation to a parking ticket. Then he told us exactly how to pay the parking ticket and court cost. Thank you.

Mr. Sachs is an amazing attorney! He had great communication throughout the entire process. We got the exact result we wanted even though I felt the cards were stacked against me. Yes, this firm asked for a big retainer BUT, after talking to a couple of other area lawyers, this firm seemed more aggressive. I met with David Sachs at my first meeting and he gave me the feeling that I was going to be well protected in my trumped up, ridiculously racist criminal charges against me. Money well spent. David was fantastic. He was able to have my case dismissed by filing legal papers with a court appearance with testimony (not a trial). Judge agreed with his legal opinion and dismissed my case. I can't thank him enough. Also, on one court date lawyer Andrew Proto from the firm appeared on my case which was fine, because I did hire the firm, but what was exceptional about it was that he knew my case just as well as David. In my view, this firm is top notch.

It so happened that I ran through a stop sign in the village of Tuckahoe a few months back. In conference with Mr.Sachs he assured me that he will do his utmost best to secure a favourable resolution to the matter on my behalf. So said, so done. Iwas very worried because my license was in jeopardy if I were to be found guilty, I live in a neighbouring state and in NJ you get additionally penalized if you are found guilty of any moving violation in NY state. Thank God I encountered and chose this law firm to represent me. It has been two long years but finally my manslaughter charges were dimissed after trial. All I can say is that I was frightened during the whole process because the DA wanted me to go to prison. Even when there was talk of just felony probation it was going to ruin my family and my life. The best decision I made was hiring David and his law firm. I mean, David gave it his all! He was confident, poised and it always seemed like he had a great rapport with the DA and the court. When I first met him I knew right away that I could easily talk to him and he explained everything clearly to me. Through my frightening ordeal it gave me a lot of security. I have to say though, waiting for the verdict I couldn't breathe! But David delivered and delivered big time!

He then identified the materials I needed to collect as mitigating circumstances. I provided him with the material and he was able to substantially reduce the fine and I ended up with no points on my license. The firm was responsive and kept me informed of progress. The firm did not over promise and under deliver they did exactly what they told me they could do during the consultation.

This morning David represented my 18 year old son in front of the judge at the Town of Greenburgh Justice Court. My son was ticketed for speeding going 80 in a 55 MPH zone on Route 87. David was able to discuss this matter directly with the judge to plea the case down to a no points fine of $75 plus a requirement for him to attend a six hour defensive driving course. Considering it could have been a 6 point penalty on my son's license this was a very positive result. We would certainly recommend David's services for traffic matters in Westchester County.

After a simple Google search, and after reading numerous reviews (all of which seemed 'too good to be true' by the way), I finally met with David Sachs and a handful of other local criminal defense lawyers in the White Plains area. I had been 'jumped' outside of a bar by three belligerent men after a presumably innocent discussion went wrong. A Good Samaritan came to the rescue, stopping one of my attackers in his tracks and sending him to the hospital. However, when the police arrived, I was arrested and never had a chance to explain my end of the story (my Good Samaritan fled and was arrested the next day). Needless to say, I felt like the victim and not the perpetrator and I needed a lawyer who was going to see it my way. None of the other lawyers could promise a dismissal but worst, they said an ACD dismissal was completely unattainable. David couldn't guarantee a dismissal, but he was confident of his record enough that I chose David. I would not settle for a plea, for a misdemeanor conviction, for probation, or for a record. As a young business owner and former educator, a criminal record would be devastating (I had a misdemeanor from my college days that still lingers!). Guess what? I received an ACD dismissal. My poor Samaritan, well, he went with another lawyer and had to plea to probation! Incredible. As for price, all lawyers are pricey, and David's cost was comparable to what the others were charging, it seemed like a standard price. I know this review seems to good to be true but it's the truth. David's record and reviews are like this for a reason.

Do not go anywhere else for a custody lawyer. David is an excellent and trustworthy lawyer. He is extraordinarily knowledgeable about family court and it really shows in and out of the courtroom. We retained David for my daughter's custody case which was very contentious as her ex-boyfriend (the father) had violent tendencies. His lawyer was aggressive but David had control of the facts and law of the case. Yes, David is aggressive too! The outcome after trial was exactly as it should have been.
