Andrea Friedman is an outstanding divorce and family law attorney who combines expertise and knowledge of the law to quickly identify issues, take decisive action and deliver optimal results. As a stay-at-home-dad with four kids difficult challenges lay ahead but Andrea never hesitated from the challenge and developed a clear strategy and pathway to meet my family’s needs. She gave hope when there wasn't any and proceeded to completely turn the table upside down in my favor. Andrea was results-oriented and direct in her approach but operated with skill, integrity, grace and poise that commanded respect in the courtroom, meetings and even from her adversary. She was incredibly efficient with her time and kept me focused throughout even when emotions ran high. She was empathetic, genuine and is truly a good person. This law firm lies and deceive their clients in favor of the almighty dollar.

Based on my experience, avoid them at all costs. They sound great and put you right though to one of their top lawyers when they are trying to get you to sign on with them, and that is the last you'll ever see of that great attorney. For me, I was immediately handed down to a junior attorney who handed me immediately down to a brand new, even more junior attorney to meet with me, who then absolutely refused to be in touch with me and did not follow through on anything she said she would do. I was relegated to a para-legal who gave conflicting advice from what the attorney had said, who promised an actual attorney would call to talk to me (never happened, and who had a terrible, high handed attitude on top of all that. All while I was trying to negotiate a really difficult injury and losing my life as I knew it. TO TOP IT OFF, after changing firms just two months in because of such terrible support or help from them, they make appearances at my worker's comp hearings because they want a part of my settlement when it comes. Do nothings. Someone at the firm must have some integrity, because in their written information they sound great, but how they actually treated me was terrible. If the people there that have any integrity by chance read this, you should get more involved in the actual day to day of your business - find out what is going on if you aren't aware. Work at trying to get your staff and attorneys to do as you say you believe in your written literature - its going to be a big job.

To start it off, from the beginning they were always a step behind. When the hearing approached the lawyer that I was in contact with for several months was not even the lawyer representing me at the hearing. Instead this company decided to send a lawyer who I had never met or even spoken too to defend me, and to add to it she was not physically there, she was "representing" me through a television screen. Markhoff and Mittman didn't even have the common courtesy to call me and inform me that my actual lawyer that was there with me through the several months was not going to be there and they were having another lawyer represent me. The lawyer that Markhoff and Mittman appointed to me not only did she not have ANY MEDICAL DOCUMENTS with her, she barley even knew my name and had not a single clue of my case. It was almost like they threw her the case an hour before the hearing. Not only are there multiple injuries, the lawyer only spoke of one. This company made me look like an embarrassment to the court and to the insurance companies lawyer. I can not even stress it enough on how unsatisfied I am with this company. Some of the most unprofessional people I've ever come across. Do yourself a favor and do not even consider hiring this firm to defend you, you will only waste your time to end up back at square one.

I am very happy for the way they handled my case. When I needed answers to my questions they were answered. They always called me back when they were busy when I needed help. They responded promptly. The staff is very pleasant. They have done a wonderful job taking care of my business. I am happy with the way they have taken care of me.

I have nothing but great things to say about Mr Lever and his firm. They do excellent work and fight their hardest to get you what you deserve. They stay on top of things and keeps you informed throughout the whole process, I would recommend anyone to them. Mr Kenny kudos goes out to you as well on a job well done.
