I don’t know where to begin. The entire staff is friendly. I walk around like it’s my home. They are exceptional lawyers in their profession. David Lever is a regular guy whom with his hospitality, great conversations and vibrant character, makes you feel like family. On top of that, he got the job done stress free! I highly recommend the law practice of David Lever from the law firm of Lever and Ecker, located in White Plans N.Y. David is knowledgeable, compassionate, intelligent and highly empathetic. His honesty is much appreciated, unlike the experience I have had with other attorneys. David seems to really care about his clients, which, is very important as he specializes in personal injury law.

After my wife and child were in a car accident I called around to several firms to see what our best course of action was. Ultimately I landed on Lever & Ecker after speaking with Dan on the phone who gave us great advice and walked us through all of our options. His honest and empathetic approach to our situation felt genuine and never once was he pushing us to pursue legal action. He shared his philosophy on how our health is the #1 priority and that his firm would be there should we need council. If you or your family need council I would give them a call.

I called Lever & Ecker for moral support and for an explanation and better understanding of an incedent i had previously experienced. Although this firm was not involved in any way, Geraldine was kind, helpful and clearly addressed my concerns. She truly put my mind at ease. It is reassuring to know there is a law firm with employees who are so knowledgeable and willing to assist a non client.

I applied for SSDI on 12/6/22 and was denied on 1/25/23. Filed Reconsideration on 2/3/23 and was denied on 4/3/23. Filed Appeal on 4/17/23 and decided to find an attorney to assist with the appeal. I attempted the first two stages on my own because I was 54 years old, 100% disabled veteran (Critical Case), and have advanced education. Statistically, most people get denied at the first two stages, but you have the best chance of approval during the appeal stage. $7,200 may sound like a lot of money, but I would receive $400,000 over the years until I turn 66, so the attorney expense was minimal if you look at the big picture. I felt I had filed solid paperwork on my own in the first two stages, but lost. The Disability Guys (Brian Mittman) and staff reviewed all of my submitted paperwork and enhanced everything I submitted with more legal terminology. During the hearing, Attorney Mittman efficiently handled all questions from the Administrative Law Judge (ALJ). The Vocational Specialist only was asked one question during the hearing. Are there any jobs that he can perform, and the Vocational Specialist replied, “No.” As I mentioned, I initially filed on 12/6/22, but I retired from my job on 8/31/21 due to my disabilities. My SSDI was approved effective 9/1/21. My retroactive check went back further than I anticipated. You only get one chance at your appeal, so I highly recommend the Disability Guys and staff to professionally assist you with your claim!!!

Kimberly Del Prado says she will call you. She doesn't. Two weeks pass by and I've sent several reminders. Still no call. They keep you in the dark and ignore you. I've asked for 1 phone call in the 2 years they've had my case and I get ignored and neglected, so its not like I'm a needy client. I just want to know what's up with my case after 2 years. I asked for her supervisor to call and I still keep getting ignored. Take your case to a law firm that actually cares about their clients rather than just making money.

Kimberly Del Prado has my case at The Disability Guys, and I can’t think of a more unprofessional rep. She straight up lies and says she will call…then when you ask for a supervisor because it’s been 2 weeks and no call, she continues to ignore you( despite numerous reminder texts to her) she just lies and says she will have her supervisor call. Then when the supervisor never calls your left not knowing what’s going on with your case. I would straight up, go somewhere else as if I were you, unless you like to be treated like your case doesn’t matter!
