Pros
1
Knowledgeable and professional legal advice
“Peter Grubea's office handled and are still handling all these matters with expertise, courtesy and empathy.”
2
Excellent communication and responsiveness
“The Lawyers and Staff at The Grubea Law firm have been great. They were professional and polite. My questions were answered immediately, I always spoke to a person and did not have to leave voicemail's and wait for a response.”
3
Compassionate and understanding approach
“They also were very compassionate during this very stressful time in my life. That fact alone helped me and my wife get thru this process with the least amount of stress as possible.”
4
Reasonable and transparent fees
“The fee's that were charged were also very reasonable.”
5
Effective representation in court
“For the case hearing with the Bankruptcy Judge, Mr Grubea was himself present. Against a number of objections by the Trustee attorney, Mr Grubea, as his calculations and promise, was able to convince the Judge and got my monthly payment to just $208 a month.”
Cons
1
Poor communication and lack of responsiveness
“You will never get to speak to Mr. Grubea about issues regarding poor handling of your case, only to one of his staff that you never met.”
2
Issues with lost paperwork and administrative errors
“My wife faxed in and emailed then every documentation that he requested. All tax info, all employment info in the form of pay stubs, they even asked for my daughter who does not live at home with me pay stubs. his secretary said they never received it even though a read receipt was put on the emails so we know they were opened.”
3
Difficulty in reaching the attorney directly
“I was told again we didn't have paperwork and he was not available. at this point I told them it is been a year all I want to do is speak with my attorney that I hired I have never spoke with yet.”
4
Unexpected additional fees and charges
“After my bankruptcy case was dismissed, he slapped on an extra $”
5
Lack of post-discharge support and follow-up
“Now after bankruptcy I owe $20,000.00 more than when I filed. When I tried to rectify this with Mr. Grubea's office I was basically told to pound salt and just pay the bill.”
