After having interviewed three other “top” divorce lawyers on Long Island and being so unimpressed and actually scared to have to deal with them, Mr. Divins had a way of putting me right at ease and gave me some hope for my future. Everyone who works in his office is really nice and they all want to help. They are quite a team! The person who referred me to Mr. Divins described him as "a no-nonsense Navy guy," which I found to be absolutely true. He is direct, to-the-point, and very honest. Byron took over my divorce case after several other attorneys I had hired really screwed things up and put me in jeopardy of a horrible outcome. I was referred to Byron by a friend of mine after my previous attorney I felt was messing up my Divorce case for the past 6 months. He sat down with me, took his time, and really cared about everything. He went into great depth to understand my issues, the case, and the mistakes that lead to where I was, and did everything to rectify the issues.
