I have been working with Per Diem Services since 2009. They have always appeared and do good work when they do. They send reports back quickly. They cover many different counties/jurisdictions and can get things covered quickly if need be. I highly recommend Per Diem Services.

My office is a small, busy plaintiff's medical malpractice/personal injury office on Long Island, with cases all over the NYC area.
Samson and his team at Per Diem Services are great. We have worked with them a lot, for many years. We can always rely on them to cover a court appearance for us when we can't send someone from our office, even on short notice, and they always handle our appearances in accordance with our instructions, and call us if there is any issue.

I have been practicing for 40 years and have never experienced better attorney-to-attorney service for “coverage” in the New York and federal courts than what my wonderful colleague Samson Freundlich’s Per Diem Services, Inc. provides. Mr. Freundlich’s company is impeccable on detail, adaptable with difficult or last-minute assignments, and attentive to the human equation. The latter may be the most important reason I rely on Mr. Freundlich eyes closed: in a word, he cares. He just cares!

I would hire them for a simple appearance, but as you don't get to talk to the per diem attorney, either before or after the court date, I would be reluctant to hire them for substantive work.
