I had the pleasure of working with Weider & Weider, they were my attorneys during the sales process of a home I had just purchased. Laura in particular was so great in her handling of the whole process and really put my best interests first. The firm was always available and always provided timely responses. If you want a seamless home buying or selling process, I highly recommend using this firm.

My attorney John Martello was very helpful and knowledgeable from the beginning of my case until the end. During my deposition when I was asked irrelevant questions John did intervene and that gave me a warm and fuzzy feeling that I was certainly in the right hands. Lack of good communication made working with Laura Giacomini impossible. I was given a hard deadline by sellers agent to sign for a home buy. Laura Giacomini was commissioned to represent me through my agent. My agent assured me in writing (email) that she had the contracts in hand 6 days before the deadline. 3 days before the deadline I had still received no form of communication from Laura. I contacted her Monday (3 days before deadline) and she said she had still not received the contracts from the sellers agent. Sellers agent claims to have sent the contract to her three days prior. Laura claims it was due to an email problem that she didn't receive the contract. Laura contacted the sellers agent and was able to get copies by midday Monday. I asked her to send me copies so that I could review the first draft and request several additions to the rider agreement. From Mon-Tues I attempted to reach Laura by phone and email to ask questions about the agreement and talk to her about revisions. I got through to her once on Monday after many attempts. She was eager to get me off the phone and seemed annoyed by my questions. I tried calling several more times that day when she did not call me back as promised, but didn't reach her again until Tuesday. In that time, I had discovered some concerns about the property by looking it up in the dept of buildings and other city records. Laura again seemed annoyed by my questions and just said, "the title would have to clear" so don't worry about it. She ended that conversation by saying she would call be back before the end of the work day. She didn’t. With 24 hours to go before the deadline Laura didn't call me, leave a voicemail, send a text, or write an email to let me know what was happening. By the morning of the deadline, Laura had finally responded to one of my emails, not to answer my question about the contract status but to claim to have tried calling me twice the day before and that “something must be wrong with my phone.” She claims my phone didn’t go to voicemail. However, my phone was in perfect cell reception with the ringer on during the time-frame she says that tried calling with no missed calls showing (no, I wasn’t in the subway). Again she didn't email me. Furthermore, she did not reach out to provide my agents with any updates so as of Wednesday morning, both my agent and I were in the dark. I called her Wednesday and she informed me that she had already sent revision requests to sellers agent without speaking to us first or asking us about amendments. We parted ways at that point. Buying a home is a big purchase. Your attorney should “have your back.” Laura Giacomini wasn’t willing to offer any kind of legal counsel on the contracts in question, and was virtually impossible to reach for questions. On a less but still important note, the name of their company is misspelled on their own website. That just doesn’t bode well for their attention to detail.

John Was recommend to me by my mother, My experience with John was the best. John works on your case like it's his. Coming from dealing with I didn't know what to expect when dealing with a smalller firm. It was the best decision I could have made. Any questions you have at whatever time , John will take the call. Also he uploads everything from your case through a portal so you can see what going on in real time. Bottom line John got the job done and got me paid. Best lawyer in the area

This was an excellent experience. John Martello is an great lawyer who is very knowledgeable in his field. He was always available to answer questions and always made sure I was up to date with the situation. At the end of the case the settlement was alot more than I expected thank to John.

I meant John Martello in worst time of my case when my previous attorney had drop my case because he didn't see large potential that would make him money and many more attorneys I reach out to prior hiring Mr. Martello after being drop. Mr. Martello not only took what a time was a weak case which eventually became a strong case due to his diligent. With all that said he was there for me at all times and the case was settle in a very short period of time for a very large amount. One of the things that Mr. John Martello stand out from many other attorneys his compassion and his dedication to care for you as a family member and not as client who's going to make him money. He was there for me at all times during especially during my difficult times. We had an open communication which at any given time he was reachable without me having to go through his secretary or paralegal. Not only he was very involved in my case but he make sure I very involved as well and never kept in the dark. Every motion he filed, doctor's report and ect. I had access to view from the privacy of my home. I highly recommend Mr. Martello he will treat like a family and not like $. You won't regret it.

I was recommended to John by another lawyer to take over a case that I thought I had no chance in winning and once I met with John and he took on my case I had hope. He was very honest and straight forward with the outcome of my case he also assured me that I would only meet with him twice when I talked over the case and when my case is closed everything else he would take care of and so he did. My case was over in less than 6 months of him representing me. Great lawyer very knowledgeable and honest. Most importantly I loved that I didn't have to deal with going to court.

I hired Mr. Martello to represent me in a slip and fall accident with serious injuries. From the very beginning right up until the end, John guided me through the whole process. He explained in great detail what would happen at every step in the lawsuit. He was always available for any questions that I had during the case. His attention to detail resulted in a great outcome. John uses a program that allows you to view and comment on documents, review upcoming calendar events and you can email John from the software program. It is extremely user friendly and I found it very convenient as most of the answers to my questions were found here. A bad accident and injury turned out to be a great experience.
