Chris was not my initial choice to help answer a custody complaint served against me; although he should have been! After I started to feel uncertain about my current counsel, I called him to see if he’d be willing to take my case. He cleared up a lot of confusion from my last counsel and immediately took me under his wing. While his course of action was not a popular one with other attorneys, he alone encouraged me to respond back, request dismissal of the complaint and claim that jurisdiction didn’t belong to NC. Nothing about my case had an easy answer as I lived multiple time zones away, and he was honest in giving me no promises to the outcome. I took a leap of faith with him while he rallied with his partners and committed to extensive research on the UCCJEA. Chris knew that time was of the essence with my case and he kept me as one of his top priority clients since day one! When I retained an additional attorney from outside the state, he stayed in lock step with him all the way until the conclusion of our UCCJEA hearing and seamlessly “handed off the baton“ once my case was dismissed in NC and moved to out of state. Chris really led me through what I felt looked like a truly bleak situation into believing that I actually stood a chance in this custody battle that crossed over state lines. Although my case went forward in another state and things were far from over, Chris played a substantial role in allowing me to be the mother with the ability and the right to be present in the everyday life of my little one. I am forever grateful for him and his partners for all of their counsel in my case.

I met with Chris and he told me that he could help me , he told me that it would cost about 4k to do what i wanted in a civil case. I told him that it was very important that we act on this asap. A week after I gave him the money, he starts to tell me he is not sure if i have a case. Then I can not get in touch with him for over 2 weeks. When i do, he says i still have a case but he needs to do more research, I told him if if he could not help me to send my money back. he assured me again he could help me. Then 2 weeks later i called him and asked him what he had done, He siad he had hired a new attorney and she would be heading up my case. He said that she would be in contact asap. Well two weeks later no call, no email all i kept getting was bill from them. I called after another 2 weeks and he said she would call me tomorrow. Well a week later she calls me and tells me i dont have a case. I then called Chris and asked him to send me back my money. He refused to take my calls or talk to me on the phone., He told me that he would not be sending my money back due to he had spent the retainer on research? That i would have to find another attorney to help me, that he was too busy ? So after close to 5 months, this guy says he spent all my money and did not do anything for me. I would highly suggest you do not do business with this guy.

I first consulted with Mr. Reinhardt over two years ago after searching for the best family lawyer in Asheville. Not long after my custody case exploded and throughout the process, which continues to this day, the entire staff has been absolutely incredible. Although Mr. Reinhardt has been my attorney or record, over the course of my case I worked with almost every member of the firm, including Mr. Bull and Mr. Dow, who stepped in to help when they were needed. Chris is one of the best in depositions and cross examinations. Trust me my spouse who was trying to destroy me had to sit through both. Chris is VERY GOOD at what he does and knows exactly how to question people in legal situations. Chris Reinhardt is a "bulldog" in the courtroom and helped me in my divorce case where my spouse did everything to destroy my life. If you are looking for attorneys to get you across the finish line in a difficult family law situation this office is great.

I had a very complicated matter that I needed assistance with. The motion produced by Mr. Reinhardt was excellent. He and his staff were very attentive and did amazing work- very organized and professional. Mr. Reinhardt was unable to remain on my case but he stayed on long enough to assist my new attorney and kept in touch throughout the process, constantly offering his knowledge and assistance. Get this guy because you want him on your side and not your ex's!!! Really great attorney, gets back to you in a reasonable amount of time. Thorough in his preparation and really knows his stuff. Put me at ease every time a new twist occurred in our case. In the end, I was really happy he was my attorney and not my ex's. He will have your back and knows the best solutions no matter how heated the case might get.

I was arrested on a domestic violence charge and was able to meet with Mr. Reinhardt within one day after calling his office. Upon meeting him and discussing my case I knew he was trustworthy and would be able to handle my situation to the best of his abilities. I followed his recommendations and he was prompt in responding to my e-mails and phone calls. He would always converse with me while in court and afterwards and explain what was going on and what I could expect in the future. Upon completion of my court orders Mr. Reinhardt explained that I should probably have this charge expunged from my records and explained the discounted price for this since I was already his client. I waited a number of months before deciding to do this and when I called the office he still remembered me and explained the procedure in full detail as to how long this would take and how the finances involved in this would be handled by their office (and he still gave me the discount price). Approximately four months later everything had been taken care of, he sent me an e-mail and all of the documentation from the court even though I had already received the same documents in the mail (and also sent a refund check since there were no court costs involved). I would have never known the difference about the court costs. I consider him a man of high integrity, honesty and have the utmost respect for him. Although this was a trying time in my life, Mr. Reinhardt made this whole process a little bit easier to deal with. Again I thank him for all that he did for me!
