After several rounds of negotiations over many months the attorneys in our divorce case decided on mediation. Several mediators were considered but Jim Siemens was selected. As it turned out Jim was a prescient choice. His preparation, calm demeanor and ability to gently push each side to a solution was just what was needed. We ended up working together over several hours during two separate, highly charged sessions. The issues were complicated, involved large numbers and the outcome was going to affect our lives for years to come. Jim was sensitive to the situation, did not rush anyone to an unwanted answer but did push both parties to reasonable compromise. It was hard! In the end I felt the guidance Jim provided my attorney and me led to an outcome we would not have achieved on our own.

Going through a separation is a very stressful and dreadful experience. You really have no idea what direction to take or even what steps need to be taken during this time. I was recommend, by a friend, who had previously used Mr. Siemens and highly recommended me to speak with him concerning my matter. I made the phone call and had an initial phone interview with Mr. Siemens. It felt like he immediately gave me a since of understanding and direction that I needed to take.
