This is a brief but very well deserved "THANK YOU" to Rod Kight, and to Ashley Poteet-Kight, of Kight Law Office, PC in Asheville, NC. About two to three years ago I began to have panic attacks regarding credit card debt that I was finding increasingly difficult to manage. My husband and I had moved to North Carolina from many successful years in Florida, and he felt it was retirement time. I had not quite planned on a sudden move like this but thought I would find a new job and pay off the credit card debt we had. Unfortunately, work is not readily available in the mountains and instead of paying off, the debt began to increase. I knew I had to do something and I began researching bankruptcy as a last resort.
