I was issued a speeding ticket while driving through Asheville North Carolina. Vanessa Mr. Amburgey‘s paralegal was extremely helpful, explain in detail all the procedures and kept me very well informed. I can’t think this firm enough or Vanessa for helping me out. I needed a criminal attorney for Madison County, but I don't live there. I asked a friend to find out who the best criminal defense attorney in the area was and let me know. She lives in Madison County and works in Asheville. She did not personally know of one, but made some inquiries and Mr. Amburgey's name came up more than anyone else. He and his assistant Vanessa took my case, got it dismissed, and I didn't even have to go to court. I was guilty, but it was a really stupid thing more than anything, and I am so appreciative for the work these two did for me. If you need a criminal attorney, this is the only choice.

I hired Thomas when I was referred him last summer, I have had experience with lawyers in the past that just did the bare minimum and I still was convicted. Thomas takes the time to hear you out and gets things done. I had a case where I allegedly was caught on camera painting the beautiful town of Asheville with more colors, Thomas got me off clean. After that I was caught in a domestic violence case where I was simply a victim but being charged wrongly. Thomas met me in the court room and had my case dismissed within MINUTES. I was charged with a moving violation (I would like to make clear for my professional reasons, this was not a criminal case). Mr. Amburgey dispatched the case quickly and effectively.
