Make sure you're made of money when retaining King Law. You will be charged an arm and a leg from the simplest of correspondence. The agreement you sign states that ANY lawyer can show up to represent you on the day. Patrick Keeley, Senior Associate at the firm was retained and I was sent Logan Ponder, still wet behind the ears coming out of law school. Logan was not only a newbie, he had no information on me heading into the courtroom. Logan made a call to Patrick as he was unprepared for the day and I was charged for that. If you're looking for bravado and someone to make you feel a little better about your situation these guys are not it. Heed my warning. Below is what they are going to charge you for the hour. They also have a minimum of 12 min of work for any work performed. That means an email from any partners saying "Hey" or "keep us informed" will run you 40-60 dollars. Enjoy. I didn't. Partners (Jr-Sr) $350-$400 per hour. Associates (Jr -Sr) $250-$350 per hour. Case Managers/ Law Clerks $100-$150 per hour.

I was in need of an attorney who understood my situation, knew the possible outcomes and what was at stake if I didn't get the best defense possible. Mr. Amburgey contacted me within a few hours of my call, arranged for my surrender and found me an honest bail bondsman willing to help my family financially, and quickly. Met at his office discussed the situation and went with me to the jail to turn myself in, along with making sure the bondsman was there before I even went in for processing. He worked extremely hard and listened to what I wished the outcome would be, he presented it and never backed down until we got what was fair and acceptable. I hope I don't ever need to call Mr. Amburgey in the future but if I need an attorney he is who I will call.
