I needed a criminal attorney for Madison County, but I don't live there. I asked a friend to find out who the best criminal defense attorney in the area was and let me know. She lives in Madison County and works in Asheville. She did not personally know of one, but made some inquiries and Mr. Amburgey's name came up more than anyone else. He and his assistant Vanessa took my case, got it dismissed, and I didn't even have to go to court. I was guilty, but it was a really stupid thing more than anything, and I am so appreciative for the work these two did for me. If you need a criminal attorney, this is the only choice.

LAST MINUTE TO MY RESCUE! I am from Roswell GA and was not familiar with anything in NC much less the law. I just happened to catch a dwi charge in 2012 visiting friends in college. I got a probation charge b/c the two states failed to communicate. I called Mr. Amburgey's law firm the day of my court and he literally showed up in 10 minutes and resolved my case in 40 minutes or less. Our initial consultation with the Asheville office went very well. We were unable to meet with the Attorney in the first consultation because of an emergency hearing she was at but the assistant was very attentive, had very good feedback and was able to answer questions.
