I live in Pennsylvania. My son lives in Hot Springs NC. I hired Attorney Upright over a custody case involving my son and his children. At the time, my son was in basic training for the National Guards and was unable to attend any of the court hearings. Attorney Upright handled all the necessary paperwork and procedures for my son. He was very professional, informative, helpful and friendly. I was only able to work with him through phone call and emails. He was always available when I called and answered my emails promptly. He also was very reasonable with his fees. I sometimes felt like I should have paid more but he never sent me a bill for any of his services. I am extremely pleased with the work and the time he spent on this case. I would recommend him to anyone who is in this unfortunate situation. Attorney Upright made me feel my son, my grandchildren, my family and myself were important. I thank God for guiding Attorney Upright to me. I called dozens of Attorneys from that county and area He not only responded quickly but listened and cared about what was going on with my grandchildren. Once again, from someone who only spoke with him by phone or emails, I think he did a wonderful job.

Mark was professional and helpful during a very unfortunate time in my life. I was facing a nasty custody battle with my soon to be ex husband and the attempt of moving from my state to another. As difficult as it seemed at times Mark kept me hopeful all while being honest and sincere. He got me everything I was after and more. I now live in a different state with my child and it was all thanks to him! He handled my divorce and custody. 10/10 recommended.

Is very late with everything. Will tell you”it will be done tomorrow” but it’s not. Worst lawyer ever!

Took my daughter’s retainer and did absolutely nothing for her. The husband filed an injunction to take her children and he didn’t even file a response. He showed up to the hearing a half an hour late and bullied her into signing an agreement conceding every single point, refused to let her defend herself and rushed her to sign without even giving her the opportunity to read the entire document. A complete disgrace.
