We contacted Carolina Family Estate Planning after moving to North Carolina from New Jersey - we wanted to make sure all our important documents, including wills, healthcare directives and trust documents were all up to date and compliant with our new state laws. They responded to us immediately, and through several meetings with both the director of client relations, the lawyer that they teamed us up with, and their staff, we had our (pretty complex!) documents updated and ready for signature within a matter of days. They answered every question clearly and kindly - this kind of thing can be stressful but they went above and beyond to make us feel secure and at ease. Their office is absolutely the most organized lawyer's offices we have ever been to, right down to the document delivery which came in a tabbed binder and with copies on a flash drive. I couldn't be happier with the experience of putting our trust together with CFEP. We found the staff to be knowledgeable, responsive, professional, and thorough. The staff answered all of our questions promptly and anticipated most of them. Although trusts can be complicated the CFEP process and knowledge crisply led us through the steps while addressing our specific needs. We never felt rushed as we determined our best options. Robert Seidel was the lead attorney but the paralegals and support staff all contributed to the effort. The trust process doesn't end with writing documents. The funding phase where your legal entities are transferred to the trust was also clearly defined. We were provided a package with detailed instructions, forms, and a discussion to answer any questions. I thought the price was fair for the amount of work performed and would strongly recommend CFEP for any of their service offerings.
