Engaged Ms. Manfreda for a divorce proceeding. The divorce situation was not complicated. I was very happy with her work and that of her support staff. She is thorough, competent and easy to work with.

Words cannot accurately express my gratitude to Laura and all of the staff at Ward Family Law. I hired Ward Family Law in October 2016 and have worked with Laura for the past 4 years. My divorce was not an easy one. Laura has been by my side throughout the divorce and subsequent custody action. She has a sharp mind and a kind heart. I always felt a small sense of peace during a very tumultuous time knowing that Laura by my side. Laura was wonderful in negotiating my separation and later the divorce. She outlined the process involved, listened to me, and wanted to make sure I understood my rights. She answered my questions promptly. Ann Adam, legal assistant, was also very helpful and kept me informed of the status of my case. I was very pleased with the outcome.

Laura represented me in a divorce in 2010. The divorce was settled through mediation and she always made herself available for when I had questions about the process. I felt that she represented me well and provided great guidance. I was very satisfied with her representation and the overall results.

I hired Laura when she worked in Charlotte at a local law firm. I too, paid and paid her in handling my family law case concerning child custody and support and it only got worse. She seemed too timid and scared of my opposing party, who represented himself and has no law experience, but somehow he was always one up on us. It wasnt until I hired another attorney, paid her ONE TIME, not several times like I had done Laura and my case was handled to my delight and in my favor. I'd suggest you find another lawyer. Dont waste your time and money !

Laura was my lawyer while she worked at Sodoma Law firm. Excessively did absolutely NOTHING to help my case. After relieving Laura as my lawyer and getting a new lawyer I found out she never scheduled my case for court which coincidentally racked up 3-4 months worth of bills fighting with the opposing counsel during a time I thought my case was going to be held in court. Just not a good lawyer and over charges with very little output.
