What began as a straight forward case for Mr. Maurer and I turned out to be a turbulent back-and-fourth with the NC Court System. The assistant DA denied our request which resulted in a hearing nearly a year after the request was made. After a very well prepared rebuttal of the DA's assertion was presented in this hearing, the judge approved of our request. Mr. Maurer and his associates were very attentive to my case as well as myself as a client. During the long waiting period I was regularly updated as they checked in on the matter by contacting the court. I am sure Mr. Maurer was not expecting such a hassle with this case, but he handled everything exceptionally until the end. Thank you Mike!
