Rich Daugherty was there for me when we were going through a very difficult time, he listened, counseled and truly sympathized, all on the first phone call! I was floored, he was going to help me and he did. Rich always returned calls and he was there every step of the way. I would certainly recommend Rich Daugherty with the highest confidence he will work hard for you to get what you deserve.

I had a question today regarding a legal matter with my employer. Even though Rich doesn't practice law in the area I needed, he spent almost 20 minutes answering my questions and providing me with advice (not legal or specifically related to the case). He told me how to prepare for the negotiation, how to keep calm, and best practices to follow during the meeting. I have no doubt that he would be a great attorney. I was really blown away by his generosity and his input. You don't meet many people like Rich in this day and age. I really can't say enough positive things about him, he's the real deal. I have only known Mr. Daugherty for a couple of months but I found him to be a very diligent, effective and intelligent attorney. He was able to negotiate a settlement for me in what I considered to be a discrimination case. Having felt like my previous employer was being less that genuine with me by laying me off on short notice and saying that my "position was being eliminated" but then replacing me with someone else less qualified than me made me feel like I was being thrown out with the trash. Without getting too much into my particular details let me just say that were it not for me using his services that I could have found myself in a financial hardship due to my age and even though it is not explicitly said or done this does happen. His ability to negotiate for me was a life-line since I attempted to negotiate with my previous employer without any success. In addition, his terms were reasonable and fair. Having kids, a mortgage, etc. has allowed me the luxury of having a cushion while I find an employer with more ethics. Mr. Daugherty is genuine, very easy to talk to and was able to work with me in my particular situation. If you feel that you have been wrongfully terminated or "laid-off" and doesn't pass the JDFR (Just Doesn't Feel Right) test give Rich a call. He's not part of a big legal firm so he gives you his utmost attention. Just my 2 cents but highly recommend him.
