Please choose your immigration lawyer wisely. In 2010 my naturalization case was denied because of my frequent trips outside USA. I went back to my originally lawyer with the news and he said there was nothing he could do. So I waited for another 9 years before I got Alice Clover. She immediately realized that I should have appealed the case because the denial was an error. Nine years was too late to appeal so Alice Clover took my case, applied a new and it is now approved. Alice is very knowledgeable about immigration laws, very focused and detailed oriented and easy to work with. Because I chose the wrong lawyer in the first place I wasted nine more years. If you have immigration questions however difficult it is, Alice Clover has the legal answers.

Megan Deutsch is an amazing lawyer. Thanks to her my case has been approved and now I am a resident. I met Megan when I first applied for my case and at that time I wasn’t financially stable and she still helped me out to file my case. Years passed and it was time to apply for my residency and I went back to legal Aid and they couldn’t take my case anymore so they recommended me to Megan who has her own office now. I was so glad to see her again and she helped me once again and Thanks to her I am now a resident. I couldn’t thank her enough for her hard work and dedication. I highly recommend her as a lawyer.

Meghan worked with my wife (who is from Honduras) and I through my wife’s long immigration case. This involved a visa/change-of-status from J-1 to green card and included a 2-year foreign residency waiver through the “exceptional hardship” route. We were actually referred to Meghan from our current lawyer, at that time, who needed to take maternity leave. Though we certainly liked our previous lawyer, Meghan took excellent care of us, so much so that we decided to continue with her once the maternity leave had ended. Meghan stayed on top of everything and prompted us on a regular basis with things we needed to do or obtain for the case (we felt like a couple of slackers by comparison). She had no problem seeking advice from other lawyers, when she thought it would be beneficial, or going out of her way to contact the embassy or other officials to seek clarification and prompt answers on our behalf. She was also very thorough in her efforts to furnish supporting documents, which included coaching us through writing the many statements we needed to provide or obtain from relatives, friends, employers, etc. Everything was considered significant, and she requested (politely) that we produce as much evidence as possible to fully support our case. We never felt that anything was missing in her services to us, and her demeanor was always kind. Through many twists and turns, the hardship waiver was approved, and my wife now lives with me in North Carolina as a lawful permanent resident. In a few years, we will be contacting Meghan again to walk us through the process of obtaining US citizenship. She has earned our trust many times over, and we highly recommend her to anyone else who needs assistance with an immigration case.
