At the worst time in my live Kelly Routh, Joyce Dunaway, and the whole Dozier Miller Law group made all the difference. When I first walked into the office they literally took me by the hand and made a breakthrough for my case that gave me the feeling of empowerment. That feeling carried me through the whole process. If you are reading this review, then there is a good chance you are like me a few months ago trying to find a good attorney out of the long list that is available. I needed legal representation for a custody matter, and I didn’t have a lot of time. Furthermore, my matter was a bit complicated by the fact that I resided several states away and knew no one in the state of North Carolina. After making several calls and sharing my plight, I was eventually introduced to Amanda Cannavo. During my first consultation, I was immediately struck by Amanda’s sincerity and passion. Most notable, I was totally impressed by her knowledge and explanation of the law. We were of the same mind and I felt right there and then I had found my attorney. As my custody matter unfolded, I was often shocked at the underhanded tactics used by opposing attorney to try and gain an advantage. However, I felt Amanda was very thorough, and always well prepared. She was decisive in her actions, and her detailed strategy regarding our next moves was crystal clear. Amanda articulated the issues and applied the law in a manner that resulted in defeat after defeat for the other side. In the end victory was ours! Amanda was patient and very responsive in handling a "redo" of my separation agreement in a difficult situation. My first agreement was with another lawyer my ex had set up and it left much to be desired.

This was my first time having to go through a legal situation. Kelly Routh was suggested to me from a friend and I'm glad she was. The other party involved in my legal battle was completely uncooperative but kelly and her team took over and dealt with all the necessary steps to handle that. Kept me well informed and answered questions through email in a very timely manner.
